The self propelled Light Rail 3.5 Intelli Drive is a lineal light mover with a large load bearing capacity. It's rated at 50+ lbs but the experts tell us that it can easily stand and move 100lbs or more. It is, without question, the finest linear lamp-mover available. It uses no pulleys, chains or gears. Simply ceiling mount the standard six foot long track above the desired growing area and place the lamp-moving drive motor onto the track. The Light Rail 3.5 Intelli Drive is supplied with adjustable switch stops, so that the lamp travel distance can be adjusted to any length you wish. This feature is perfect for keeping the light focused during the early stages of growth while slowly expanding the lamp coverage as the plants grow. What makes this unit shine is the adjustable 0 - 60 second time delay when the lamp reaches a switch stop. This useful feature minimizes the 'tee-pee' growth phenomenon caused by the plants under the center of the track receiving twice as much light as those on the ends. By allowing an adjustable pause at the ends, the plant canopy is kept more even over the growing area. Accepts all vertical and horizontal horticultural HID lamp reflectors. Lights are attached to the motor housing from an eye bolt hanging from the housing. The Robo-stik stabilizer removes the lights from this eyebolt to the stabilizer bar. A robotic trolley quietly moves the light on a 6 foot track completing a round trip, depending on the model, from 3 - 6+ minutes. With the included adjustable stops the run may be shortened. For longer runs, optional 3 ft extenders are available. For maintenance, the trolley can be easily removed without disturbing the track. Another standard feature is the Intelli Drive, a built-in adjustable time delay that can be set from 1 - 60 seconds. Intelli Drive will pause the light at each end for more balanced growth. The 6 rpm completes a round trip in 6 minutes. The 10 rpm moves approximately 66 % faster, completing a round trip in about 3 minutes. Especially good for extended light tracks.
